TAKE ME AWAY

The last look of the Par La Roy series is finally here! After posting several looks, the final and my favorite look from the bunch is now up, to close up the cool street photo shoot series, of my collaboration with this amazing boutique. I had a great time shooting the looks, it was such a fun and exciting experience working with them and getting to now all the super talented up’n coming mexican designers, who's clothes I had the honor to wear. l loved all their unique pieces and having the chance of styling them with my personal touch, for making them my own, was the cherry on top of the cake!

This look is super fresh, sexy and flirty at the same time, the basic the circular skirt paired with a stripped shirt, all in monochromatic cobalt blue tone, is so chic and easy to pull off, making this a perfect summer look. This tone is so hot for this season and stripes sure are on trend as well, so I just added an extra pop of color, with the bright patent sandals to complete the ensemble and to create a cool contrast making this look young and fun for a long summer day.

ALL WHITE

My Bday was just a few weeks ago, but I never got to post the photos of what I wore on my special day, but better late than never right? Anyway here they are now. I turned 25 this year, but since I don’t really feel like a 25 year old, I decided to celebrate as if I was turning 15 again. I had an amazing day with my family and friends, I throw a party at my house to keep the festivities on going and I had such a good time. It was really the perfect day, I had a ton of balloons, ate like 4 different birthday cakes, blow too many candles and wished for even greater things to come.

Origami shorts - Zara / Embellished blouse - Sfera / Glitter and studs silver sanldas - Zara / Silver folded clutch - Louis Vuitton /  White watch - Michael Kors.

I decided to wear a minimal and monochromatic look, following one of the coolest trends of the season, the "all white” look, getting a fresh and feminine ensemble, perfect for a birthday girl. This outfit is quite simple, I just paired a pretty blouse with a cool pair of shorts, creating an effortless chic look. The details on both pieces, certainly take this easy look to the next level, the embelished top adds the sophistication and the origami shorts bring the cool edge. To keep it in neutral colors, I decided to add only some silver accents, by wearing my beloved clutch and the perfect pair of glitter sandals.

The weekend is almost here, let’s make some plans!
have fun!!

Andrea

GOLDEN GIRL

Let’s start this week, we a new and exciting post, featuring the fourth look from the Par La Roy photo shoot series. This look has an interesting mix of fabrics, used on pieces with a super classic silhouette, creating a modern city chic outfit, the lame golden skirt brightens up the whole look and mixed with a super urban washed out denim shirt, you get such a cool contrast. This is such an easy combo to wear, denim shirts are super practical and are always fun pieces to mix and match with dressier bottoms like this golden skirt, making the ensemble work perfectly from day to night.

Washed out denim shirt - UCHU / Golden A line Skirt - Vintage Selection / Golden Necklace - AGUA DE ROSAS / Bracelets - Agua de Rosas & La Vetem / Golden stilettos - Kate Spade.

LET IT RAIN OVER ME

It has been raining non stop, for almost a week now and even tough I like rainy days, I think we’ve got all the rain we needed for one month. This weather kind of sucks, since we are entering the summer season and we were kind of getting used to having a super hot weather around here, when all of a sudden, the sky turned grey, the rain began to pour and the warm weather got away. We all know that Dressing apropiatly for the storm seasons it’s always tricky, sometimes we don’t really get to be as fashionable as we’d like, but its always fun to push ourselves, to find chic outfit, that can work to combat the rain, while still looking fabulous.

Like this cool ensemble I wore for one of those dreadful rainy days, this look has a mix of hard and soft, with a boho chic twist. The bow tie blouse makes the look feminine and sweet, while the leather jacket creates a contrast, giving the look an edgier vibe. Together they make a great rocker combo, that matches perfectly with my dark flare jeans and my chain and leather clutch. Then to complete the look I wore my big pamela hat, to give the look the extra boho touch it needed, and to keep my hair rain free of course.

Quilted leather jacket - Forever 21 / Bow tie blouse - Forever 21 / Dark denim flare pants - Express / Pamela boho hat - BCBG / Leather clutch with chain seems - Zara / Suede sandals - Zara.
